Clubs & Societies

In 2010 the Student Associations in partnership with the Office of Student Success will be supporting the establishment of Clubs & Societies on all campuses.

How do I set up a Club or Society?

If you would like to start up a non-sporting Club or Society on campus, follow these easy steps:

  1. Download the Clubs & Societies Handbook (PDF, 1MB)
  2. Recruit members to your Club or Society!
  3. Hold a general meeting and elect Office Bearers (explained in handbook)
  4. Submit your Club/Society Application Form (Word doc, 1MB) to your Campus Student Association
  5. Meet at an arranged time with your Campus Student Association representative(s) and Campus Life Coordinator/Officer to secure funding* & resources for your Club/Society as per your Application

If you would like to setup a Sporting Club on your campus, please visit www.acu.edu.au/sport or contact your Campus Sport Convenor.

*funding is at discretion of the Student Association. Student Associations are under no obligation to fund Clubs or Societies deemed to not require funding for its activities.
